What is a Pip?

How to Use

2. Enter your position size (lot size)
3. The calculator shows pip value in your account currency
Pip Value Formula
The pip value formula depends on whether your account currency matches the quote currency:
When account = quote currency:
Pip Value = Pip Size × Contract SizeWhen conversion is needed:
Pip Value = (Pip Size × Contract Size) × Conversion RateExample: Trading 1 standard lot of EUR/USD with a USD account:
- Contract Size: 100,000 units
- Pip Size: 0.0001
- Pip Value: 0.0001 × 100,000 = $10 per pip
